Quad 405 Kits and Parts Quad 405-2 GE2 Modules
The upgrade to the module includes: Replacing output (dumper) transistors, Replacing driver transistors, reducing current limiting by replacing the current sense resistors. Replacing the bridge inductor and capacitor. Replacing the bootstrap capacitor and resistors. Replacing the inductor in the driver circuit. Replacing resistors in the DC servo and AC feedback circuits. Replacing the input op amp and reducing the gain of the input circuit. Replacing all small signal transistors. Adding capacitors to the power input lines. Adding RF coupling to the input anti-hum resistor. The module is usually supplied with a sensitivity of 1.5V for full output but can also be supplied with standard gain with 0.5V for full output. Price £185.00

modules are built to our full GE2 standard and can be fitted to any Quad 405
amplifier. These modules are easy to fit as no soldering is required, just a
screwdriver and a small pair of pliers.
