The
Service Upgrade for the NAD 3020 replaces the main Power Supply capacitors with
2 x 6800uF, this helps to provide much improved definition to the bass sounds.
All remaining power supply capacitors are replaced with new and increased
capacitance. This provides a more stable (less noisy) power supply to the
pre-amplifier and initial stages of the power amplifier. All pre and power
amplifier electrolytic capacitors are replaced with non-polarised electrolytic
capacitors. The output transistors are replaced with modern equivalents.
